WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK

For me, living life successfully is all about understanding one's passion and acting on it. Coming from Menasha, Wis., where I was born in 1939, I developed a great hunger for life and for the material success that could allow me to live to the fullest and take care of my loved ones. This hunger for living and success has colored my entire life and is one of the reasons I have now written this book - so others may benefit from the life lessons that I have experienced. I also want to begin a new phase of my life using this book to reach out to others on a personal level through speaking engagements and seminars. I have always known that life gives back what you put into it, and at my stage of life I wish to spend more time helping others and less time building up my own personal portfolio and businesses. Sure, Truman Capote said that "answered prayers" were the worst result for most people, but I have never found that so. If you reach a goal, you can always set a new one, and that is what I have tried to do!
